China's Broad Money Reaches the U.S., Euro Area, and UK Combined

Between 2000 and 2023, China's broad money supply expanded by a factor six times greater than the combined increases observed in the United States, the Euro Area, and the United Kingdom. By the first quarter of 2024, China's total broad money supply equaled that of these economies.
