In the 12 months ending September 2024, U.S. imports from Canada reached $425 billion. Fuels and related materials led the imports at $134 billion (31.5% of total), followed by machinery and transport equipment at $105 billion (24.6%) and other manufactured goods at $105 billion (24.7%). Food and beverages contributed $38 billion (8.8%), while crude materials amounted to $20 billion (4.6%). These categories highlight the importance of energy and industrial goods in U.S.-Canada trade relations.
