Rise and Fall of Russian Oil in EU Market

Crude oil imports of the European Union from Russia decreased from 3.6 million barrels per day (mmb/d) in 2010 to 2.3 mmb/d in 2021, and due to sanctions, dropped by 81% to 0.4 mmb/d in 2023.
