Share of World Exports and Annual Growth Rates (1990­–2023)

China's share of world exports grew rapidly from 3.9% in 2000 to 13.7% in 2015. However, this growth slowed significantly from 2015 to 14.2% in 2023. The annual growth rate of China's goods exports, measured by the compound annual growth rate (CAGR), decreased from 16.6% during 1999–2015 to 5.1% during 2015–2023.
