U.S. Tops Global Goods Imports: $3.2 Trillion in 2023 vs. EU's $2.7 Trillion and China's $2.6 Trillion

From 2000 to 2023, U.S. goods imports increased from $1.26 trillion to $3.17 trillion, achieving a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.1%. During the same period, the European Union's imports grew from $0.91 trillion to $2.72 trillion, reflecting a CAGR of 4.9%, while China's imports surged from $0.23 trillion to $2.56 trillion, boasting an impressive CAGR of 11.1%. This highlights the U.S. as the world's largest importer of goods in 2023.
